James chose the candy blue finish for his Parlee Z Zero. It's always a popular choice as it looks so amazing and unusual. It's still fairly understated too, it only really hits you when you take a close look in strong light: That's when you get to see the depth of colour and the frame construction visible below. In this instance, James chose the unidirectional construction rather than the 3k weave.
James didn't stop there though. Having the inside edge of the forks and rear triangle painted can look really good. With some inspiration from Pollock, James wanted the edges paint splattered in a monochromatic palette. This really enhances the one off nature of the bike and adds a further intriguing element without overpowering the beauty of the frame.
With SRAM Red eTap wireless, Chris King hubs, ENVE rims and Parlee carbon finishing kit, this is a stunning build. It's amazing how clean eTap looks with rim brakes.
