This second generation Diverge is quite an evolution from the previous model; slacker head tube angle, shorter seatstays (shorter wheelbase overall) and a lower BB all combine to make a bike that's less cyclocross-copy and more adventure-focused.
There's clearance for up to 700x42mm or 650b x 47mm tyres, and on the Expert it's shod with the awesome Roval C38 Disc carbon wheelset and Specialized's fast-rolling and grippy Pathfinder Pro in 700x38.
It's a handsome bike, particularly in this Satin Navy colour option - the proportions just look right. But there's also FutureShock suspension hidden away at the front end, giving 20mm of travel, combining with the elastomer-damped seatpost to ensure that long days on and off road are a pleasure.
The build kit on this carbon Diverge Expert is really well thought out, from the Power saddle (one of our favourites - although of course we always ensure it is the best fit for you) to the "Hover" bars with their raised top section to make riding on the hoods that bit more comfy.
