A single ring 42-tooth SRAM RED crankset, mated to a 12-speed 10-50t Eagle cassette - drop bar eTap AXS shifters and an XX1 rear mech... that's the recipe for a SRAM mullet.

You can mix and match with the latest SRAM gruppos (a handy side-effect of their decision to go all-in on 1-by drivetrains). The result is a groupset that reflects what OPEN refer to as the "GravelPlus" intent of the UPPER, a bike that is designed for some serious off-road use but also munches miles on the road.

ENVE's AR wheelset provides plenty of speed on the road and are plenty wide and tough enough to happily tackle any gravel surfaces with a remarkable degree of comfort. The S-Works Phenom saddle too is both supportive for long rides and easy to move around on when you need to find the perfect line off road. The end result is a bike that's fast on any terrain.
