Overview

Specialized tune each size of the Tarmac SL6 frameset to ensure optimal handling and consistent ride quality across the entire range, with each frame built from 500 separate carbon components. This approach to sizing is more common these days on high-end framesets, but Specialized take it a step further and even vary the width and depth of the fork blades - a significant additional investment in development and manufacturing, but one they feel is worthwhile to achieve the best results and consistency.

When riding the Tarmac these subtle details may not be immediately obvious, but they undoubtedly play a part in the silky-smooth ride and crisp handling of this latest model.

This AXS build comes fully equipped for speed and efficiency, with SRAM's latest wireless electronic groupset, now in 2x12 form, providing the drivetrain. Roval's 50mm deep CLX 50 wheelset is the perfect match for the Tarmac's "fast but practical" approach, running smoothly on CeramicSpeed bearings for ultra efficiency.
