Specialized S-Works Shiv Disc

Triathlon courses have become more varied and technical over the past few years. In response tri bikes have evolved, from pure straight-line speed machines into something more versatile, shedding weight and improving handling.

There's no better example of this than the Shiv TT. Specialized have really pushed the limits with this one. As bike fit specialists we also appreciate the attention they've paid to adjustability - those distinctive aero shapes are no hindrance to the perfect fit, and the front end in particular is highly adjustable.

This build is particularly special, with a full complement of top end components. The Roval CL64/321 wheel combo is a perennial favourite, sensibly deep at the front and full disc at the back (and of course with disc brakes all round).

SRAM's latest eTap AXS gruppo provides easy, wireless shifting with minimal effort from any hand position, as well as helping reduce wiring clutter. That aero 1x chainset with integrated Quarq power meter is a particular highlight - narrow/wide teeth eliminate any worries about chain drop, and deliver efficient power transfer.

The CeramicSpeed OSPW is instantly recognisable, the oversized jockey wheels providing a less cramped route for the chain and reducing drivetrain friction (in tandem with their super-smooth and durable ceramic bearings).

Aerocoach Align Wing carbon armrests provide a touch of ultralight luxury at the front end, working with Specialized's own integrated aero bar and stem to provide that efficient, highly adjustable position.
