The Specialized Tarmac SL5 Expert strikes a balance between value and performance. It doesn't have the new upgrades that the more costly models boast for 2018, but it does add mechanical Dura Ace into the mix for a great price.

The FACT 10r carbon frameset is unquestionably fantastic, it's been a consistent race winner for seasons now. The "cosmic hologram" paintjob seen in the photos is really something else. Subtle from afar, far from subtle upon closer inspection.

Dura Ace 9100 really ups the ante, making this a top performing bike. Smooth, effortless mechanical shifting.

Roval SLX24 rims are laced to DT Swiss hubs. That's a fast and efficient wheelset, the hubs being a particular highpoint. If you were to think about a wheel upgrade, you could really get a top end machine here for a relatively low spend.
