Wilier produce some stunning bikes, and the 0 SLR sits at the top of the range as their ultralight flagship.
There's no such thing as an 'ordinary' Wilier, and their build options are particularly versatile, but this takes things to another level with Lightweight's brilliant new Meilenstein EVO, bringing tubeless and high modulus carbon fibre to their classic wheelset.
With all-carbon wheels weighing in at just 1380g per pair, the total build weight is going to be around the 6.5kg mark. Quite the climber!
Dura-Ace Di2 provides its usual faultlessly slick shifting, and unusually for an ultralight frame Wilier run the cables internally (including via their own smart integrated bar and stem). A CeramicSpeed BB keeps friction to a minimum with incredibly durable ceramic bearings.
Selle Italia supply a carbon SLR of their own - this time it's the saddle, another light weight work of art. The C59 weighs in at only 61g, quite incredible.
That glorious deep blue paint adds a few grams of weight, but when it looks that fantastic it seems like an acceptable compromise (Wilier do also offer a matt black option for those looking to shave every last gram).
