7mesh bring fresh thinking, technical heritage and manufacturing excellence cycling apparel from their base in Squamish, Canada.
Road, MTB or the spaces in between, 7mesh make the perfect product for that. With an understated, simple aesthetic, 7mesh clothing performs at the top of its category. Here's our pick of their best pieces for Autumn:
7mesh's standout Corsa Softshell Jersey is the perfect weather resistant partner, combining full WINDSTOPPER® jacket protection with the sleek fit of a jersey. The Corsa is up to 100 grams lighter than comparable products, and fully sealed seams, extended tail, and AquaGuard Vislon zip make it the most protective softshell on the market.
Performance, look and feel are just incredible. Brilliant.
The Resistance is a jacket every rider should have. Ultralight and supremely packable, no other piece provides greater versatility in such a compact package.
Built using WINDSTOPPER® Active Shell, the Resistance is windproof, extremely water resistant, and incredibly breathable. And at just 115 grams (4 oz), it compresses down to the size of your fist - easily small enough to fit in a jersey - and even fits nicely inside its own security pocket.
"I bought both the vest and the jacket a few months back
now, which are really coming into there own now that autumn is
here.
On my daily commute or out on long rides at the weekend, both are
extremely light and I love that each of them packs into itself. You
hardly know you have it in you back pocket." - Rowan, Bespoke
Gresham Street.
Complementing the minimalist face fabric, the Resistance is constructed using 8mm seam tape to reinforce minuscule seam allowances and provide added protection from the elements. Like all of our shells, the Resistance is shaped using Helix patterning which enables the jacket to conform perfectly to your riding position.
"For my bikepacking trip to France I carried practically nothing. The Resistance jacket served me perfectly over two weeks, on and off the bike. It kept the wind off, kept me insulated and warm when darkness fell and, in my opinion, it out-performed many jackets sold as fully waterproof. When the skies opened, the Gore Windstopper membrane was extremely effective at keeping the water out due to it's fully sealed seams. Truly an amazing bit of kit." - Gemma, Bespoke Gresham St.
7mesh approached their bibshorts from scratch, coming up with some innovative features that stand out from the crowd. Dan's been riding them a while now and thoroughly approves. The look is minimal, the tech level is high!
The MK1 uses warp knit nylon for maximum durability and elastane for increased stretch and recovery. The internal grid pattern surface texture aids mechanical wicking. Aggressive patterning with critically placed darts shape the MK1 into an on-the-bike body form with minimal required traditional paneling. This reduction in seams allows comfort throughout the range of motion with less bulk and resistance, and fewer stress points.
Internally, a suspended knit liner creates a buffer between the chamois and short, allowing the chamois to fit independently to the body. This means you are more comfortable in the saddle.
"If I awarded such awards, the prize for best new clothing brand would go to @7meshinc. 1st foray into road shorts is close to perfect." - Caley Fretz, Velonews
