If you've seen pictures from some of the recent shows, like the Rouleur Classic or Philly Bike Expo, over on Instagram you'll have already seen previews of Chris King's latest special edition colour options on some gorgeous show builds.
Now they're available to order for everyone, individually or as part of your new bike build.
A Chris King BB or headset is one of those components that many of us take from bike to bike over the years, they're that durable, serviceable and treasurable.
Precision made in the USA, Chris King even produce their own bearings in-house to ensure absolute control over quality and specification. The famous buzz of their freehub mechanism is one of those hidden signs that cyclists use to identify like-minded riders - a signal that real thought has gone into your bike.
There's a wide range of colours in their permanent collection, but we're always excited to see which special editions will be released, for a limited time only.
Matte Violet is available now, and Matte Bourbon from early December (but you can pre-order now to ensure delivery). The colours are available across their range of components; headsets, bottom brackets and hubs.
Both colours work well with a broad spectrum of bikes, the Bourbon looks particularly awesome on a raw finish Titanium bike with matte carbon contact points, and the Violet goes brilliantly with white or cream framesets. The beauty of these though is that they complement such a range of colours.
We can supply parts separately, build your dream wheelset with the R45 hubs (they pair particularly well with ENVE rims) or fit them to your new or existing bike in our workshop - get in touch to discuss options and to order.
Our new online Bike Builder lets you choose a frameset, colour options, components and see them previewed in real time. Mix and match to your heart's content!
