Lightweight have unveiled their latest generation of superlight carbon wheels, and they look every bit as impressive as you'd expect.
The Generation EVO range is tubeless ready, and available only in disc brake form.
There are three models available:
Meilenstein EVO - the classic Lightweight mainstay
Wegweiser EVO - the lower profile climber
Fernweg EVO - in either 63mm or 85mm depths, the deep section aero wheelset
All feature a new carbon layup, and Lightweight say that the Meilenstein and Wegweiser are now gravel and cyclocross ready. Certainly the 120kg "maximum system weight" (bike, rider and equipment) is generous and shows a confidence in their durability.
The spokes are constructed from a new High Modulus carbon fibre which is stiffer and stronger than ever before, and a benefit of the new layup in the rims is additional comfort without sacrificing stiffness.
As always they're using DT Swiss freehubs, which means it's easy to swap out different axle standards, and the wheels are compatible with all current road/gravel gruppos, including 12 speed.

The Fernweg EVO will also be available in an 85mm rim depth (weighing in at 1765g), priced the same as the Fernweg EVO 63.
We'll also be seeing Schwarz Edition versions, featuring CeramicSpeed bearings - prices and availability to be confirmed.
