Here's the new, amazingly fun to ride Parlee gravel/CX bike, named the Chebacco.
Just launched at Eurobike, the Chebacco is Parlee's answer to the all-road phenomenon. Rooted in the original name (Chebacco Parish) of Parlee's part of Massachusetts, the Chebacco is their go anywhere and do anything bike. With massive tyre clearance, a whopping 40c with mudguards, you're ready for anything.
Add disc brakes, through-axles front and rear, along with stealthy fender mounts and the Chebacco combines the ride quality we all love with amazing practicality. Pricing will be inline with the best-selling Altum R models and shipments will start in October. We'll have models in store to check out after Eurobike. The Chebacco is equally at home on the road. You can see this road ready build here.
Along with the Chebacco Parlee are now officially releasing the Z-Zero XD which was briefly shown at Sea Otter in April 2015. Like the Chebacco, the Z-Zero XD is optimized for the less traveled path, with 40c clearance, disc brakes and through axles. With all-road being the watchword right now, we're certain both models will be really popular.
Parlee have been hard at work here in Beverly, Massachusetts for the last two years bringing tube production 100% in house and the Z-Zero XD features all in-house made tubing and parts. The Z-Zero XD is ultimate combination of performance and versatility and is available now!
Gravel, dirt and lousy roads will never be the same. See more of our Z-Zero XD Eurobike build here.
That beautiful Z-Zero construction writ large...
Parlee are going all out for 2016:
"Along with our own tubing, we will be releasing our own forks, seat posts, stems and handlebars this season. Stay tuned for more details on these as we go into fall!"
We'll keep you informed as soon as we have more details and availability on all of Parlee's new components.
Come and see the new frames in store next week and discuss your next build!
