Chris Froome is back racing this weekend, for the first time since his accident whilst preparing for the Dauphiné.
To celebrate his return Pinarello have launched a special edition extra-Froome-y paint scheme for the Dogma F12 X-Light.
The X-Light uses Torayca T1100G Uni-Directional carbon fibre combined with a special resin to save around 60g off the standard Dogma frameset. Available in Disc or Rim brake versions, contact us for more info!
The main features of the new Dogma F12 X-light remain unchanged compared to the traditional model: more aero asymmetrical frame, total integration cables (TiCR) for improve aerodynamics, reinforced rear stays to increase responsiveness, Italian thread bottom bracket, and Headset Drop In with 1 "1/2 (upper) and 1" 1/2 (lower) bearings. These different solutions combined with the new integrated handlebar, the Most Talon Ultra, lead to an estimated savings of around 8 Watts.
The frame sections keep the Flatback aerodynamic profiles, the bottle on the seat tube can be positioned in two different positions adapting to the personal needs (performance or comfort) 3XAir, the TwinForce seatpost closure, specially revised with titanium components for a reduction of the weight.
The frames in both Disk and Rim versions are approved by the UCI, to be used in all competitions.
They will be available in 11 sizes: 440, 465, 470, 500, 515, 530, 540, 550, 560, 575, 595.
