Specialized 2020 Down Under Collection
The cycling community is particularly close-knit, with a shared passion building bonds around the world. So, as we await the imminent start of the 2020 World Tour in Australia, our excitement is naturally tempered by concern for cycling friends, family and all affected by the bush fires.
Fittingly, Specialized have chosen to celebrate this year's TDU with a special limited edition collection inspired by Australian wildlife - and specifically by the cheekily vibrant colours of the Australian Budgie. They've also donated $100,000 USD to help rescue and care for animals affected by the fires.
The Down Under collection is here, and we're one of only a couple of Specialized dealers in the UK to have stock. The range is now in-store at Bespoke Gresham Street, or order online here at bespokecycling.com, with free UK delivery on orders over £100.
The collection is stunning in shades of blue, green and yellow - and impressively, despite the limited edition one-time-only nature of the release, Specialized have kept each product at its regular retail price. Check out the range below:

S-Works Evade Helmet with MIPS SL / ANGI - Down Under Collection
A technical tour de force, the S-Works Evade features superlight MIPS SL protection, as well as Specialized's integrated ANGi crash sensor (and includes a lifetime subscription to the Specialized Ride app).
Extremely aero, yet also highly practical, this wind-tunnel tested helmet is fast but remarkably well ventilated for an aero lid.

Allez Sprint Disc Frameset - Down Under Collection
Specialized's top level aluminium road race frame, the Allez Sprint Disc uses hydroformed tubing and their clever D'Aluisio Smartweld technology to deliver a stiff, light frameset. The full carbon fork is borrowed from the Tarmac SL6, which is a good indication of the racy intent of this machine, as is the included Venge Aero carbon seatpost.

"As this noble little bird, and much of Australia's wildlife, suffers from devastating bushfires, Specialized is donating $100,000 USD to WIRES Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization, who are working tirelessly to rescue and care for wildlife affected by the fires. It is estimated that over a billion animals have been impacted by bushfires in Australia just this season. In December alone there were over 20,000 calls to WIRES, and their volunteers attended over 3,300 rescues. With fires still burning, many more animals are in desperate need of help"

On behalf of the Australian team, we wanted to send a massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting the Australian bushfire recovery with a donation of $100K to WIRES.org.au as part of the Down Under Collection launching this week.
As you can all appreciate, it has been an extremely devastating time. There are still months of hot weather ahead, with dangers still very imminent and years of rebuilding and recovery ahead. This donation will go a long way to help with rescue and recovery of Australian Wildlife.
