We've only just been allowed to unveil the new SRAM eTap AXS groupsets, but they've been in development with selected "launch partner" brands for some time. So, right out of the gate, we're seeing some fantastic bikes appearing.
Specialized are of course big fans of integration, and of aerodynamic efficiency, so the new SRAM RED gruppos were bound to find a home on the range-topping S-Works models.
Announced today are the S-Works Tarmac Disc and S-Works Venge Disc, both with SRAM RED eTap AXS:
Currently these are priced at £9500 for the Tarmac complete build and £9750 for the Venge - the same price as the equivalent Dura-Ace models. This represents extremely good value, we'd usually expect the SRAM groupset to command at least £1000 more given the RRP of the components (and the Quarq power meter cranks are included as standard in these builds!).
Given the initial reports we've had from testing on the new groupsets, plus our own experience at the European launch, this really does seem like a no-brainer if you're in the market for a new S-Works bike. I wouldn't hang around though, these prices are worth getting while you can! Get in touch now to order yours.
Both bikes come in Gloss Metallic White Silver paint. Detailed specifications are listed below.
Alternatively if you prefer the idea of a full custom build, we have the new RED eTap AXS groupset in our online bike builder here: S-Works Venge Builder / S-Works Tarmac Builder
Specifications are subject to change, check with us for the latest details at time of ordering. As always we will do what is required to obtain the perfect fit, including swapping contact points like-for-like at no additional charge.
